I was supposed to turn in because I have a very early day tomorrow, but I couldn't tear myself away from this video of Pinoy Wrestling featuring the immortal Joe Pogi. By the way, has there ever been a ring name in the history of professional wrestling better than Joe Pogi? I say no.



But Caloy Bakal of the Bakal Boys was always my favorite wrestler. I was quite the wrestling geek, and I wrote about it earlier this week on FHM.

WWE Raw's latest desperate gimmick has been getting different celebrities to host their struggling flagship program each week. This past Monday, it was the Big Sidekick, Cleveland Cavaliers center Shaquille O'Neal. He was a natural for the part.

And you wonder why this site is named Fire Quinito. Our favorite columnist went to the WWE Smackdown/ECW house show at the Araneta Coliseum last Friday. Now, I didn’t see the show myself, but I usually catch the reruns of the wrestling shows on weekend mornings, and I’ve been an on-again, off-again fan my whole life, so it’s not hard to see just how utterly ridiculous Quinito’s report on the show was. He was disappointed about the whole card (big names like the Undertaker, Edge, and Batista all missed the show due to injury), and his prescription to make it better? A main event featuring Mark Henry vs. the Great Khali.

The weekend brought exciting news from pound-for-pound champion Manny Pacquiao. After he solved all of our country's intelligence and security problems, and before he goes off to beat the shit out of either Miguel Cotto or Shane Mosley, next on his agenda will shoot a new action-comedy film called Wapakman.
