FIBA-Asia Champions Cup day 1: Smart Gilas dominates Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia
I’m filing reports on Smart Gilas in the FIBA-Asia Champions Cup for InterAksyon.com, the official news website of TV5. If you’ve been following this site from the very beginning, you’d appreciate the delicious irony of me covering the team for a website

sure na yan host team Gilas is going to sweep the eliminations lalo sa easy stage grouping nila...Iran,qatar,at lebanon lang ang mahirap na kalaban.
i was just wondering why most of the participating teams are from the middle east... sure, they are part of asia but i'd expect teams coming from japan or korea
eastern teams rarely join fiba asian champs cup where club teams participate. i believe even a PBA team can join this event. eastern teams prefer playing their national team in overseas tournaments.
re tickets, i watched last sat and sunday.. its weird that SM ticketnet and the venue ticket booth says that courtside 1 and ringside are all sold out when in fact there are a lot of vacant seats.. where are the tickets??
