I'll reserve my comments regarding the Ginebra-TnT series, but you guys called it right: no post presence for Ginebra. They were successful with it back in the mid 2000s, during Menk's MVP year, but now everytime you throw Menk a pass in the post at clutch, he turns it over (Alaska-Ginebra 2010 series, then the latest he did vs. Peek). I don't know about E-Vill, I feel his play has dwindled since leaving Red Bull (on the upside, Larry's game went... up).

Regarding the All Star break - I don't know, somehow it doesn't connect to me. The AS game is really intended for the provinces (which I think is a good thing) kasi when they used to be in Manila, konti lang nanonood. Besides, i feel kahit sa NBA nagiging boring na rin AS games. The only AS games I remember are:
1) Veterans vs. RSJ 1989
2) Veterans vs. RSJ 1999 (Fil-Am invasion)
3) Crispa vs. Toyota 2003 Reunion game (sobrang ganda nyan, yugn 2003 all star game 2 days later, konti nalang yung audience hehe)

It's one of Noli Eala's innovations (I'll give him that), pero medyo off talaga yung timing, and it doesn't connect to me at least. And medyo politicized din yung line-ups. Last year, Maierhofer was already in the North line-up despite being a rookie. Now, both David and Tubid aren't even in the line-ups. Yung AS games ngayon is in Boracay's stadium which houses only less than 2000 seats. weird.

The only good thing about the PBA All Star are the jerseys, which I collect, haha (anyone got the Mark Caguioa 2004 Red All Star jersey? help me please.).
