In this episode, they take a look at the new and improved Smart Gilas, and how the team would fare in international competition. They also discuss old school vs. new school PBA and look at the other teams in the ongoing Commissioner's Cup.

No doubt! PBA old skul pa rin ang the best kaysa sa ngayon...dapat ibalik ngayon ang excitement noon..

Smart Gilas must graduate from developmental to a polished national team...para makahabol at hindi tuluyang ma-overshadow ng Pilipinas Azkals football squad.

Just listened to this podcast now, despite being uploaded last friday (prior to the SMB-Gilas game and Rain or Shine-TnT game). I guess some of the discussions you raised were addressed. I didn't catch the SMB-Gilas game on TV, but it blows my mind how SMB (with JWash and Arwind) lost heavily to Gilas. Yung RoS, Yeng said while he's finding similarities to his old 2006 Red Bull team in Rain or Shine, he wants RoS to find its own character. Real test of RoS is against the higher teams though. I find them barely in the playoffs (probably 6th), but not enough gas to match up against TnT.

Yung Old school vs. New School, ah maraming pag-uusapan jan haha, I guess that merits a whole podcast. Heck, I had a discussion just recently as to who the better player is: Mark Caguioa (the old school 2005-2007 version) vs. James Yap (2010 version). haha. You can throw in Kenneth Duremdes (MVP year) vs. say, Arwind or JWash.

Good job FTS guys! as i said, eto yung mga usapang beer/merienda na masarap pag-usapan. Congrats on the DTNL stint too hahaha
