Is Talk N Text being screwed by the refs?
Comments
wtf, i used the word "really" twice in a single sentence. smh... But they really are a bunch of whiners. Really.lol...
TNT team is such an ill-humored team. Especially , coach Chot. When they win, calls are good and ok. But when they lose or a call was against them, then refs' call are sh** and chot always claps his hands, as if to say "Good job refs, nice call, who paid you guys to call that foul?" ... Souch Sore losers. That's why they always lose in a playoff series. BMEG in 6 games!
I read this article of some sports pundit pointing out that Phil Jackson is such a whiner when it comes to officiating especially during the playoffs. He said that it's noteworthy to point out that Jackson's rhetoric against officiating usually shoots up during the playoffs, always finding a way to make a fuzz about those bad calls in postgame interviews.
But he argues that more than whining, there is a psychology behind Jackson's rhetoric.. It was a way for Jackson to subliminally influence officiating therefore making those close calls go Laker's way. And in a tight contest, close calls are crucial. Sometimes, a call can even change the momentum of the game.
I don't want to give too much credit to Chot and Talk and Text but if the incessant complaining about officiating is somewhat a mind conditioning strategy, it's pretty impressive. But then again, I personally think that the psychology of mind conditioning is bordering on BS if not totally BS.

Ronnie's tweet should have been like this..
"A sellout crowd of almost 18,000 watched the PBA semis today. But the officiating left much to be desired in the BMeg-Talk N' Text game... BECAUSE BMEG WON. BUT IF TNT WON, THEN WHAT'S THE SENSE OF TWEETING THIS NON-SENSE! "

Wow, FQ nice link on my "favorite" article. Missing the Point by Ronnie Nathanielsz. When I reacted on that article, that's actually the beginning of my "popularity" in the basketball world.
Has a very nice ring to it. Missing the Point by Ronnie Nathanielsz. Sounds like a popular work of literature, but it's really bullcrap. :-))

pano mananalo ang TnT eh Williams scored only 6 points (0-1-2-3 shooting per quarter), de Ocampo scored 2 points, Harvey Carey scored 3, and Dillinger scored only a point. Even Chino Trinidad insinuated something on Twitter :p
again, that old guy missed the point. Those are 4 top salaried players producing sub-par numbers. If it weren't for Fonacier, Castro, Reyes and Alapag, BMeg would have blown the game wide open.
binara rin yan ni Noli, saying na yung refs came from SBP where they treat the rules differently; it's not determining the outcome of the games.

in closing, it's TNT themselves who screwed themselves, and that balimbing writer is screwing them even more.
With TNT's win over B-Meg last night, at least, these issues about officiating will be forgotten. But TNT can put everything to rest if it wins tomorrow in Game Six.
It's not just the refs who are screwing things up.
The WWE doesn't rely heavily on the referees to make sure the script is being followed; the PBA should be no different.
