And an updated logo! I’d wanted to change the design for the longest time now, and I finally got around to doing it tonight. The new look comes on the heels of me finishing a couple of long articles for the day job; I worked on the new Fire Quinito design to clear my mind and unwind. Yup, I’m that big of a geek.

I wanted to clean up the look, because the old one felt too cluttered to my eyes. The thing when you run your own website is that nobody spends more time looking at it than you do, so you end up nitpicking and hating how it looks. The new design is cleaner and fresher, but I’m pretty sure that in a couple of weeks, it’s gonna drive me crazy the same way the old one did.

great design. very pleasing to the eyes and more pleasing to browse. suggestion on the logo though, put the dean's silhouette there! hahaha

The font is better now and overall, the site looks a lot more organized. @workhorse3, yup the nuffnang ad seems out of place. Before, the Fire Quinito logo was prominent but now nasapawan na nung banner.

You know ad networks target particular users according to their profile and online activity. Baka ikaw talaga yung target nung ad na may mga naka-bikini.

ito na ba ung ipapalit mo? wala atang pinagkaiba to ah.

suggest lang.. nasa right sana ung article and sa left side ung ads and links. kaliwete ka siguro kaya ganito ginawa mo!

cguro pede tangalin mo sa black na bg ung nuffnang or lagyan mo ng mas ok na bg ung hilera ng logo mo.

Quite surprised with the new look hahaha, sir jaemark.. this one is really slicker than the former, mas masarap sa mata hehe... suggest lang po, the nuffnag logo seems to cover up the pagkalupet lupet na FQ logo, just what workhorse3 and Rodolfo Obniala said, mas maganda siguro if the FQ logo is streamed there sa area ng nuffnag hehehe along with a cartoon of the dean hahaha.......

hmm..i find the main text area to be a bit too narrow and a bit too close to the left (parang maliit yung left margin). also is the body text font supposed to look bold or is it just my browser? but, don't mind me, i'm sure you have a better eye for these things :)

yeah, i'm still playing around with the margins. although i kinda prefer it to be narrow, hehe.

what's your browser/OS? it's weird that the body text is bold on your end.

Maybe it's just me, I use eyeglasses.

But the font style of the previous template is kinder for my eyes.
