I had been in Chiang Mai, Thailand (home of the 1998 Asian Games, where the Centennial Team won a bronze 1995 SEA Games, where then-Stag stars Marlou Aquino and Bal David led the Philippine team to a gold!) since Tuesday afternoon for the day job. I will be here for the week, which means I’ve missed, among other things Alaska’s 25th anniversary celebration – too bad, because I had been planning to get soused and force Tim Cone to answer whether he’d rather pick Kenneth or Jeffrey if he could have only one guy – and Ateneo’s exciting game 2 win over FEU to win its third straight title.

I won’t be flying back home until Monday next week, which means that I’d also be missing the opening of the new PBA season. It also means that the site will be pretty thin on updates over the next few days, since I’m in a seminar room all day, hotel Internet’s been unreliable, and the spicy Thai food has gotten the best of me so far. I won’t be writing about the Blue Eagles’ championship run (I’m sure you Ateneo fans won’t mind), and I probably won’t be able to do a preview of the PBA Philippine Cup either.

Anyway, I just wanted to share that I found this hilarious, especially because I know some Ateneo fans and alumni who wouldn’t be caught dead wearing this. It’s awesome.
