nope, he played in the US last year. but apparently, he's in the country now, and if he plays his senior HS season here, he'd be eligible for the UAAP.
Won't the Maui Villanueva Rule apply to Parks, having attended a Filipino school prior to moving to Memphis?
not sure, because Maui played HS in UPIS, but Parks left before he entered HS.
but if he spends his senior year here, then the issue is moot.

Good riddance to Lito Alvarez ...... very same points - I do hope he doesn't run the BOC like he did AIR21.
Seems like a decent enough guy, but it was obvious that winning wasn't his priority in the PBA.
AIR21 ..... "sagot ko ang players niyo".
Ray Parks going to NU soon ?..... I get the feeling that it's all because of Henry Sy.
Good for NU though - it's probably the first time in history that they got backing from anyone - alumni included.
I recall a long ago interview wherein Ildefonso (or was it Tugade) said that the best support they got then; was a round of pancit whenever they won a UAAP game.

not only that, DI and Lordy would join the scrimmage to provide some toughness, veteran smarts and on-court savvy.
that was when they entered the Final Four for the first time.

I remember that as well ..... good for Danny and Lordy.
Like I said, good for NU that they now have some solid support from school management - and it dont get any bigger than Henry Sy.
Well it still doesn't compare to LA SALLE and ATENEO's "Friends of the Program".
DLSU has Danding, Razon, US agent Mike Gonzales, etc ..... ATENEO has Pangilinan - the country's biggest sports patron for sometime now.
