What's next for Manny Pacquiao?

In my latest column for Ringside with Manny over at Yahoo!, I call Joshua Clottey a pussy, and talk about Manny Pacquiao’s prospects in the upcoming months, both in and out of the ring.

I think that the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Josh Clottey is a set up. It served as an appetizer for the Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight. Clottey was all smiles after the fight despite of his loss. I do not consider him a pussy but rather a part of the show. He definitely did not intend to win that fight. Being in the stable of Bob Arum as a boxer being under the management of Top Rank, the Ghanian was a big part of the script of the up-and-coming Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight. And do not feel sorry for him as he has taken home $ 3 million after the fight. Besides, he has no chance against Manny considering his skills are way below compared to the Filipino, who just happens to be the best boxer in the planet today.

Manny will definitely fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. It may not come as a surprise if these two boxers fight more than once. The promoters involved, Top Rank,GBP and Mayweather's outfit, are going to make this fight happen for a potential $100 million dollar earning. These promoters are not fools not to make this fight happen.
