In
my latest column for Yahoo!, I take a stab at dissecting the relationship between the world’s best boxer, Manny Pacquiao, and the man who guided him to the top, Freddie Roach. I know that many people have paid tribute to Roach in the past, but I’m not sure if nearly enough credit is given to the man.
I point out that Pacquiao is far from the perfect pupil that everyone in the media makes him out to be, and how their superstar-coach relationship is akin to another popular superstar coach relationship: Michael Jordan and Phil Jackson.
