Whenever I take the MRT home from work, I usually end up thinking of topics for this blog. Tonight, my mind was on the ongoing NCAA tournament, because the bracket I filled up a couple of weeks ago was doing surprisingly, ridiculously well; I had picked three of the Final Four teams correctly, and I probably would’ve gotten it perfect if Kansas hadn’t lost to Northern fucking Iowa. As it is, my pick to win it all, West Virginia, is still alive and just may go all the way.

Bobby Pacquiao, the Frank Stallone/Roger Clinton/Don Swayze of Pinoy boxing families, will follow his brother Manny’s footsteps and go into politics as well. According to a report by the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Bobby is among the nominees of the party list group Puwersa ng Bayaning Atleta. Unfortunately, neither the report nor the group’s website have noted the qualifications of the younger Pacquiao for the office, apart from having had the experience of getting punched in the face for a living.
