Burger King trades Arwind Santos to San Miguel for a plate of roasted highland legumes

What the fuck?Arwind Santos is sold to the Beermen

I was enjoying a lazy Saturday after watching the UAAP opening when news broke that Burger King sold away their best player, Arwind Santos, to the San Miguel Beermen. No official word yet on which players BK will receive in exchange, but unofficially they'll be getting benchwarmers Samigue Eman, Ken Bono, and Chris Calaguio. Gee, do you want fries with that?

And here I was just railing about how the team had been selling all their marquee players, and they go ahead and trade one of the top five players in the PBA for the hoops equivalent of isang platitong mani. Fuck Burger King. Fuck Bert Lina, and fuck Lito Alvarez. They should go fuck themselves and then fuck each other, they don't deserve to be in the PBA.

(Even the fact that Ken Bono will be joining fellow fatties JR Quinahan and Beau Belga on a team called the Whoppers. I'm that pissed off.)

Anyway, I guess there's no stopping this bullshit, but hey, I can do a protest in my own little way (and I encourage you to join me). Here's what I'm going to do:

  • I will never use Air 21 for sending stuff. I'll always go with LBC or Aboitiz for my shipping needs.

  • Not only will I never eat at Burger King, I will dissuade all of my friends from doing so, and offer alternatives every time.

  • I will give Lito Alvarez and Bert Line really, really, really offensive nicknames, and I will find every opportunity to write about them and use their nicknames. I'll do this so that on the off-chance that they read my stuff (maybe if it's emailed to them, or if it's cut-and-pasted elsewhere), they or people close to them will be horrified and offended. I'm thinking of Lito "Fuckface" Alvarez and Bert "Pokpok" Lina, but I'm open to suggestions from you guys.

you're absolutely right. that management is so fucked up. maybe they're raising an amount that japeth aguilar would find hard to resist (they do get him if japeth decides to be drafted in the pba right?) but still, that's a shitty reason to be giving up a player like arwind santos who finished second in the mvp race for two consecutive years and definitely more of an all-around player than japeth. nothing new from the two biggest burger queen bitches, HITO ALVAREZ and BERT LINTA.

I won't be surprised if BK will trade Wynne Arboleda and Gary David next. What in the hell is going on in the mind of Lito Alvarez?

i dunno if they'll trade wynne, he is married to bert "pokpok" lina's daughter after all. but yeah, gary david might be on the block next.

* I will never use Air 21 for sending stuff. I'll always go with LBC or Aboitiz for my shipping needs.

* Not only will I never eat at Burger King, I will dissuade all of my friends from doing so, and offer alternatives every time.

* I will give Lito Alvarez and Bert Line really, really, really offensive nicknames, and I will find every opportunity to write about them and use their nicknames. I'll do this so that on the off-chance that they read my stuff (maybe if it's emailed to them, or if it's cut-and-pasted elsewhere), they or people close to them will be horrified and offended. I'm thinking of Lito "Fuckface" Alvarez and Bert "Pokpok" Lina, but I'm open to suggestions from you guys.

should we call the whopper trio as the BBQ Whoppers? Bono Belga Quinahan Whoppers fits the team or maybe we should change the team from BK Whoppers to BBQ Whoppers instead?
